I am taking Paxil and I have not experienced diarrhea. You just started taking it and a lot of times the side effects are temporary and you will feel better after about 2 weeks.Try eating some cheese!

Its normal for the body to react to the shots and reject a certain amount of the injection they were given and hold as a bump. you can rub it gently and it will work itself back into the system. as for the vomiting and diarrhea. that is not typical so taking her to the doctor would be good idea just incase:)

My son was throwing up and diarrhea before and I took him to the dr’s and they said it was a Rotavirus. All I had to do was switch him to soy or use that Isomil DF (diarrhea formula) for a few weeks. He wasn’t acting sick but had been throwing up and diarrhea all day. Wasn’t relaly eating much either. Just make sure keep them hydrated and if they appear to get worse call your DR.

wow, that would be so freakin frustrating! The only other thing you can really do is try to get them to talk to a lactation consultant who specializes in it, just have them stop by and give your inlaws all the info that they need. they are being ignorant and rude and I would be so pissed too. You are doing a great job, the only thing that baby needs is exactly what comes out of your body she’s not starving ha ha and the diarrhea thing is totally normal. If they don’t want to educate themselves then there’s nothing you can do I would just say something like Okay, this is the way it is and if you want to talk to my lactation consultant she would LOVE to tell you how it really is otherwise leave me be because I know what I’m doing. You may seem like a b* but it’s time for them to be put in their place. I’m proud of you though, good job mommy :)

Don’t switch the formula just yet, there are other things to try. Try putting the Mylicon drops in his bottle, or try to give then to him about 15-20 minutes before his bottle. baby diarrhea he may just need to be burped a lot more than the average baby. Talk to the ped. before switching formulas as that can upset the tummy too. He may have colic. I would google the symptoms and compare them to how he acts. If he is crying so much, there is something wrong but if it’s colic, there isn’t much you can do except comfort him, use drops and lots of burping.

Don’t give him fiber, that loosens the stool. I was always told to give them the BRAT diet (Bananas, Rice, Applesauce and Toast) when they are sick. I’d also get a second opinion from a different pediatrician. Be sure he’s getting plenty to drink (Pedialyte, water.) And for his sore bottom. Give him lots of baths. Let him soak in the baby diarrhea water. (This always worked for my daughter.)
